CHICKEN
Chinese Chicken Wings
Ingredients
1 kg (2lbs) Chicken wings
½ cup soya sauce
¼ cup runny honey
1 inch piece of fresh ginger, grated
1 clove garlic – grated, crushed or finely minced
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Sesame seeds and fresh chili to garnish
Method
Combine sauce ingredients and blend with a whisk. Marinate chicken wings in sauce for a couple of hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

Pre-heat oven to a moderate heat (180OC or 350OF). Prepare a roasting tray by lining with baking paper or foil. (The honey will tend to burn, so this makes cleaning up easier.) Spread chicken wings out evenly, and bake for 30 minutes or until chicken wings are cooked all the way through.

Serve with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and chopped fresh chili to garnish.

Note: I sometimes use chicken drumsticks instead.
